I was out running on the Greenway the other day and I passed by that exact billboard and wondered how visible it was from the street, since it's obvious from the Greenway but also seemed to be not very high in the air. I don't think it's ever caught my eye while driving, but I guess I don't go that way very often, or if I do I'm looking to turn right right there at 29th.
I was thinking the same thing while I was taking this photo (not very visible). Still, there are a lot of people (like you) who walk and bike in the area and I bet those people do notice.
They had one on Hennepin and maybe still do that was a lot more noticeable.
I really like the opposite focus from the same location. Very different.
Thanks. It can be effective if you do it right. I usually prefer background blur myself.
