Cattail
This is the first cattail I've ever photographed. These photos are from that little swamp area between Calhoun and Isles. I'm glad is was nice and frozen, otherwise I couldn't get this close.

nice cattails, but i hope you didn't venture out into the "dangerous" territory to take those photos.

@hedy- My rebellious side was frozen at that moment. However, when I got home, I tore off the DO NOT REMOVE tag from the bottom of my mattress.
I wanted to get a skier in the background, but they were not coming by often enough. It was way too cold to just stand there and wait.
