Mouth Wash N Extract?
Spotted this interesting and or sad combination of empty bottles outside Hennepin/Lake liquors. So did they chase the mouth wash with vanilla extract? I don't know, maybe it's just garbage. Lets hope that's the case.

Those of you who follow my blog might remember the string of armed robberies a few months ago. "Armed Robbery" All the Talk in Uptown Now they're back at it again! There isn't any proof that these are the same guys but as soon as they got out of jail the robberies started again. Keep an eye out yo. Here's a link to the story from WCCO

Pics From the Fair
I said I would be at the Art Fair this weekend with camera in hand. As I left my place on Saturday to make the 2 block walk to the fair it occurred to me that I couldn't really take many pictures. I didn't want to offend any of the Artists by taking a one second photo of something they spent hours/days/weeks/months/years on. I didn't take any shots that have any artwork in them. I need to stop starting sentences with "I". I know better than that. It took me two days to see everything. Wow, is Art expensive! Here are some photos to give you an idea of the size of the Fair.
Above Transit Station
It just kept going
and going
and going. There was a lot more towards the lake.

Uptown Art Fair is Here
The burbs are coming, the burbs are coming! Well folks, its that time of year again when people from everywhere including the suburbs grab there kids and head on out to the Metris Uptown Art Fair.
I’ll never forget my first encounter with this event. I woke up, went out to my balcony to get a feel for the weather only to find poorly parked cars bumper to bumper everywhere. There seemed to be a never ending stream of people walking past my place. Something was drastically wrong with this picture but I couldn’t tell what. I figured there must be a massive protest going down. No, no, no, that can’t be right. Then I noticed it was the people that looked out of place. These weren’t Uptown folk at all. There were families, couples holding hands with strollers. Not the trendy twenty somethings I was used to seeing everyday.
It was the Uptown Art Fair and what a fine Art Fair it is. Tons and tons of excellent art all crammed into a one weekend event. So much to see so little time. Good luck finding parking if you go. It’s a Zoo and everyone’s crazy for art. I'll be there camera in hand.

A Different Perspective From the Tracks
Final pics from the tracks then I'll post some other shots.
I get sick and tired of seeing the same photos taken from railroad tracks over and over again. The ones that look like this...
I find the same image much more interesting upside down!
or sideways...
Or upside down and sideways...just try not to get dizzy and puke from motion sickness...
Or whatever, you know what I mean...
