U.S. Pond Hockey Championships 2007
Sadly the national pond hockey tournament was not held on Calhoun this year. The games took place on Lake Nokomis instead. That means I actually had to drive to watch the teams compete for the golden shovel. That also means I'll only post one photo of the games this year since they weren't held in uptown...

i really like that picture you took of the kite. looks so simply and beautiful against the blue backdrop.
cool shot! I prefer your choice of b&w over color-it creates a sense of timelessness.
@chistina- I posted two kite shots. Did you see the one with the camera attached to the kite string? They call it Kite Aerial Photography or KAP.
His photos can be seen here. check it out! They are very interesting.
@chris & deb- Sometimes you just know when black and white will look good for sure. This was one of those times. We called these guys "Team Timeless", but I didn't catch their real team name.
