Wow, that's for this fresh perspective on the Uptown theater. I've never really looked at it from below the marquee. This is really innovative, where did you come up with this idea? You must be a real photographic professional to take these kind of shots.

Hopefully the sarcasm is obvious. You are what happens when digital cameras cost $99 and come with built in editing software.

Find something else to do.

Thank you so much for your comment!!! I love sarcasm, even if it is negative and I couldn't agree with you more about the photo. You are so right, there is nothing original about it at all. You also put me in my place and I want to thank you for that. I've been posting photos for a half a year or so and this is the first negative comment I've received. ALL feedback is GOOD FEEDBACK and it is much appreciated!

But you should have stopped there instead of becoming captain bring-down. It is true my camera is a piece, but built in editing software? I'm not sure what you are suggesting? Are you mad because I like to see my photos inverted sometimes?

As for find something else to do. No, just don't visit my blog if you hate it. How hard is that? Does my blog anger you in some way? I'm serious, I don't understand? There are plenty of other people who like my photos.

Didn't realize my first post was anonymous. Sorry.

I'm just saying that maybe you have something better to contribute to society than photographs.

Also, I went back and looked at some of your pictures from an anti-war protest a few years ago. If you live at 27th and Hennepin, we may be nearly neighbors. In fact, I probably walk past your window almost every day. Just think, I could be that guy. Or that guy. Or maybe I'm this guy. Sorry if that sounds creepy.

Lets try this again. Last time we didn't get anywhere.

1) Your second post is still anonymous!? If you want me to know who you are, just tell me. Don’t give me a link to something that just tells me you aren’t sharing your profile.

2) How can you tell me about contributing to society when YOU ARE ANONYMOUS. Good for you if you contribute to society, but what does that have to do with my un original photos of the Uptown Marquee? What is your point? Do you have a point?

3) Re: The Party Opposite. Does that mean I belong to a political party? Does that mean you belong to a political party? Am I supposed to care. Even though I love politics this blog isn’t about politics. There’s a gang load of political blogs out there. Go comment on them if you want to talk politics.

4) The top of my anti-war post says this: These photos were taken on Saturday, January 11, 2003 from the balcony of my first Uptown Residence. MY FIRST uptown residence...I no longer live there so find someone else to “creep out”. Bye the way, you don’t sound creepy, just plain weird and confusing.

5) Do you have any photos of uptown that you would like to share? Maybe some better, more creative ones.

i would say that the person who has enough time to rip on other peoples web sites has very little to contribute to society...

forget all that, we need to be a tight community now that these damn muggers are back again.

good point lunch and thanks for the link. I'm so glad the media is covering this. Last time it took forever for anyone in uptown to be informed.

I love your photos...visiting your blog daily is one of my favorite things to do. And you said it best, if someone doesn't like what you do, then they don't have to visit your site. Period. Keep doing what you do. I, for one, love it.

Thanks Marissa, you truly are a loyal fan of my hobby. How about that Kisten Ulve!!! Mighty fine image if you ask me. One shoe off, hair swirling on the floor, and a drop spilling from your drink...could you be more relaxed and happy? have a blast in Europe.
