Wow. Those are absolutely gorgeous!
Amazing! And what a great weekend for the events.
Love the winter lights and glow! You can show this to any friends or relatives who question why someone would choose to live in Minnesota in the winter. Beautiful.

@ Skelly - That is funny because I used to believe that photography was second-rate art myself. For that reason alone I never really explored photography until recently. Over the last couple years I've developed a new found appreciation for it as an art form.
Photography is indeed a form of art and it has kept me very busy because the possibilities are endless. You will not find photos of flowers, puppies, and sunsets here on the Uptown Mpls Blog because everyone knows those things are beautiful.
The real challenge of photography is taking the ordinary and making it interesting. Making the most of the situation laid out before you right then and there. Those are the photographers I respect the most. Those people are indeed first rate.
Thank you for your kind words and for sending people my way. At the very least tell them to pick up a camera :-)
