Random! I found this green army man on a post along Hennepin...





This is the kind of thing I could photograph for hours without getting bored. Lucky for my life that's not what happened. I was satisfied after just a couple clicks.

These photos have been cropped a bit because I was shooting with my 17-55mm. I think a 100mm macro would have been ideal here. I don't own that lens but I will someday.

FLAWLESS

Sometimes the Uptown Theatre reminds me of a Hollywood movie set. Especially from this angle. Even more so when there is no traffic...



I've never seen flawless so this isn't a movie plug. However I have seen The Shining (left) and that is an excellent movie IMO. I took this photo weeks ago. I have no idea what is playing there now.

All That Remains

Lost and or forgotten. Old and weathered in a good way. There is something about objects left alone over time. These objects often make an interesting photograph. There a history behind all the random things I find. I wonder what the story is with this glove...







Maybe nothing. Maybe it's just a glove.

Liquor stores are closed on a Sundays in Minnesota. Any other day of the week this parking lot would be packed full of cars.

The people circle, watch, and wait for Monday to roll around. Like zombies roaming the city...
