Minneapolis Mayor, R.T. Rybak (left), gets ready to take the plunge...

And they're off...

The plungers were made up of teams. This group was dressed like SNL characters. Very nice...

The Roller Girls were there too...

Can you say style points...

I think this girl was actually smiling...

Don't forget the Jameson (right)...

Brrr...

So cold...

Batman seems confident about a first place plunge...

Dressed for success (middle)...

Are you cold yet? How about now...

The water was 4 feet deep so there was always a helping hand waiting to pull people out...

Brrr. That's all I have to say. Brrrrrrrr...

Yikes!
Oh my gosh...I shoulda been there to see it! My first thought is, idiots! But, to each his own, and I hope they brought dry clothes and a heated blanket. Love your blog, I read it daily and it inspires me to do mine :)
Oh I was working at Rustica then! BRRR! Nice shots!
Brrr. Looks like fun though. But a kid jumping in.. that's alittle much. I'm not sure how I feel about that one. (in one of your photos was a kid)
I like winter...but they're all nuts. There isn't enough voka in the world to get me to take the plunge.
These are great. Jameson Guy rules.
That's fantastic! This is also one thing I have on my 'list of things to do'
