This photo looks like a gigantic math problem to me...

I used the "clear picture style" here but I had to take the contrast and saturation way down to get the results I wanted. I have mixed feelings about clear picture style...

Sky line, tree line...

That last one looks exceedingly strange. Nice!
It's kind of hard to tell what it is at first glance. I think that's what I like about it.
Are you editing these with Photoshop? I really like the 2nd to the last one... brings movement and emotion to it.
I am going to take a wild guess but I'd say you are a type of person that listens to The Current. Am I right? :-)
No, it's not Photoshop. Canons (and a lot of other cameras) have picture styles like:
Standard, Portrait, Landscape, Monochrome and so on.
If you have a DSLR from canon, you can download some additional picture styles. Clear picture style is what I used here.
The end result is dramatically different than if you shot the same photo with a standard picture style. So different that I don't really like the results unless you take down the saturation and contrast A LOT afterwords. Which I did here but maybe not enough. The other color photo in this post has a landscape picture style and the B&Ws are obviously monochrome.
Oh and I listen to all kinds of music.
great to know about the DSLR feature. I actually just bought one two weeks ago.
