A Stormy Calhoun Night

I finally got my camera back! I was really itchin to take some new photos. Even though I've taken a lot of shots from Lake Calhoun, I don't have many night shots. Here's some that I took last night with my lil' tripod and a long shutter speed...

Does Calhoun have any kind of security patroling at night, such as the MPLS park police or curfew cops? Cause my friends and I wanted to go night swimming.

I'm gonna guess that by "night swimming" you mean skinny dipping. Calhoun has more lights now than it did back in the day. I don't think people really do that anymore.

Why don't you check out hidden beach? I haven't been there in years so I couldn't really tell you what it's like these days.

unfortunately these days I think you run the risk of citation no matter where you go. If you do go "night swimming", remember your limits, especially if you've been drinking. Nobody will be "impressed" if you go under. So be cool and good luck.
