The Old Via's Vintage

Gerber Stencil

Gerber Baby stencil found near the broken table. I think the radiating black around the baby matches my DOF choice.



After taking this photo, I walked to the Wedge and bought a bunch of baby food and I don't know why.

Woody Bricks

Lets continue with a similar color scheme from my previous post "Pointy Fence". I've always wanted to snap a photo of this Woody Allen portrait outside Specs Optical. Just never got around to it until now I guess. I think it turned out nice and I like the little bonus lighting in the upper right. Specs Optical is located off Hennepin and 22nd...



After taking a photo of the painting I noticed the shadows looked great along the same brick wall. I like how these photos turned out even better...

Vents, Roof and Sky

I just bought a new camera (Rebel XTi) and love it. You will notice an improved depth of field and high contrasty goodness in the future. I took these two photos (with my new camera) near 24th and Dupont I think. Can't remember for sure.

Agora Market Parking

Blue and orange. A rather rare combination of colors that I happen to like. Doesn't look good on a black background though. Come to think of it, I don't think a lot of complementary colors do. The bricks in the background provide nice balance to the sign. This parking lot is located off Lyndale right before the freeway.
