They should slow down or else they will fall on the ice!
In my usual hastiness I was about ask how you did that, but caught myself in time. Interesting effect. I've been trying zoom while shooting, but not zoom and pan together.
@ Missy - or they should walk faster because it's soooo cold :-)
@ Snapshutter - Try it next time you are at the holidazzle. That's where I've had the best luck zooming.

Ahh, sure, that would have been a great way to make something of the hollydazzle lights, especially the twinkle bus. BTW, if you leave an email address in your comments on my blog, once I approve the first time any subsequent comments will show up right away. Fake one will do if you don't want to give real email address. I know most of us guard their real email addresses :) Just FYI.
