All the grain in this photo was caused by many things. I was using a high ISO. It's a reflection and the window was probably dirty. Major crop, and so on.
This is a photoblog of Uptown Minneapolis. Centered at Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue in South Minneapolis, Uptown is one truly unusual high energy commercial district. Below are some photos I’ve taken and some observations I’ve made about Uptown Minneapolis and the surrounding area.

That is awesome, nice work!
Your photos are gorgeous. I'm so glad you post them - and not just because I used to live in the Uptown area. Are you familiar with the work of a photographer named Arthur Tress? He has one book of photos around the theme of children's nightmares. Something about this pic reminds me of work from that collection.
Wasn't familiar until I did a google search. If my photo resembles the work of a published professional in any way, I'll take that as a complement. So thanks.
I wonder if your photos with the odd silhouette is your hand or something else getting in front of your lens?
